Recently some of my favorite books have come to the big screen: Secret Life of Bees, Twilight, and Confessions of a Shopaholic. Other movies I've seen recently were also based on books, including the Kite Runner and Nick & Nora's Infinite Playlist. What movies have been based on books that you read, and how did they compare? movies based on books, organized nice...by year, alphabetically, etc.
Growing up, my favorite book was Gone With the Wind. I enjoyed seeing it on the big screen but was a little disappointed. I liked the book better. I think by reading a book we can use our imagination and it ends up being more to our liking. Just my thoughts.
